Perfume de Agonia, de Producciones Jes, fue una de mis novelas favoritas. Hice el papel de Irene, una profesora de teatro, cuyo esposo se enamora de otra mujer. Grabábamos en el Teatro La Candelaria en Bogota bajo la maestría de Kepa Amuchastegui. Fue una experiencia maravillosa: el libretto, el director, el elenco, el equipo, la musica. Encontré el cabezote de la novela en youtube. Siempre me encanto la canción ’Para Que,’ escrita por Ana Y Jaime.
I loved working on the telenovela, Perfume de Agonia. I played Irene, a drama teacher whose husband falls in love with another woman that he initially kidnaps for political purposes. It was my first time working with the wonderful director Kepa Amuchastegui. We filmed many of the scenes at the Teatro La Candelaria in the colonial section of Bogota. The script, direction, cast and crew were all top notch and the whole experience was very special. The other day I came across the title song ‘Para Que’ written by Ana Y Jaime. It’s a beautiful, haunting melody that perfectly describes the tone of the story. Enjoy.
