A Funny Thing Happened On The Way...
...to my IMDb page the other day. I hadn't been on in a while and was asked to include the link while filling out a form. I perused the credits to make sure it was in order and did a double take. Second Extinction: Valentina Ortega. Who the heck was she? I thought for sure the IMDb gods made a mistake and put someone else's credit on my page. That's happened before-not the mistake, that I forgotten I've played that character. I looked up her picture online she looked like a badass, 'una macha' as they say in Spanish. I found out I worked on this project remotely, from my booth in June 2020. Valentina is a Colombian trooper, with a slight accent. I was sworn to secrecy with an NDA so, once the project was completed, out of sight, out of mind. Until now.
Valentina is described in Wiki Fandom as grace and death in combat and 'she prefers to carry two heavier weapons rather than having a sidearm, allowing her more flexibility to take down her enemies.' In other words, a total badass 😎
