First of First of First...
September 20, 1994: the first day of shooting the first scene of the first episode of a Colombian telenovela called 'Eternamente Manuela.' While I had done extra work on American soap operas like 'All My Children' and 'One Life to Live,' this was my first television show where I was playing a major character. I got to say the first line in the script, which I found out later is a good omen. I had my own, dark music following me when I appeared. The day after the telenovela started airing, two women stopped me on the street, asking why I was so mean to my cousin Manuela. That scenario continues to play itself out; people still stop me to ask when I'm going to play a bad girl again. i'm ready 😉
20 de Septiembre, 1994 fue la primera vez grabando la primera escena del primer capitulo de la novela 'Eternamente Manuela.' En Nueva York yo había aparecido en papeles pequeños en las telenovelas 'All My Children' y'One Life to Live.' Pero esta fue una novela en que yo hacia el papel de la antagónica, con musica miedosa cuando aparecía.
