Celebrating The Work
On my birthday, as I have for the past three years, I went to the Hills to grab a selfie with the Hollywood sign behind me. Got to watch a coyote roaming around as well as a great view of the city. Then drove to Santa Monica to dip my toes in the ocean. The water was warm and inviting. I walked for a bit, grabbed a delicious lunch in Brentwood, checked out some jacaranda trees, talked to family and friends, and headed home to work on...yep. Auditions.
As I think back on this past year, I realize how lucky I am to live in the City of Lights. The quality and quantity of my voiceover work has increased significantly. My agents at Atlas Talent are wonderful and tireless as they continue to throw ever more interesting casting opportunities my way. Auditions are the backbone of my day and as a result of churning out so many, I have been involved in projects I could only dream of when I lived in Miami: video games, bilingual commercials, political spots, narration, promo work, and my first animated character. Through it all, I continue to work on my craft through coaching, webinars, and practice, practice, practice. All in all, it has been a stellar year. I feel blessed to be able to do what I love: voice acting.
