Wait, what? Almost twenty years? I used to consider Aaron as one of my newer friends until I realized we met on a set in Miami in 2004. He played my son in this crazy, brilliant short film directed by Brett Baker. Over the years we've gone from strangers to friends to besties, leaning on each other through a lot of laughter and tears. Four years ago he was kind enough to help me make the drive across the country. I wish we lived closer. Maybe one day. In the meantime, here's a video of that trip.
