Use your imagination in the booth
Improv: the act of improvising, or of composing, uttering, executing, or arranging anything without previous preparation. Kind of like juggling three balls in the air. It's a skill and it can be learned. In this episode, I talk to Anne about the importance of improv in voiceover work. The key is using your imagination and being as specific as possible.
Improv is storytelling. We improv all the time without even realizing it.When you're in the booth, you take whatever the copy gives you and add on to that. The more specific you are, the better.
